Carpet is barely a shadow passing overhead, but Ienzo flinches at the sudden perch of cardboard in his hair, obscuring his vision- it quickly slips lopsided, the volume of his bangs protesting almost as quickly as the volume of his voice-
"Ah, hey! What?!" He bows his head forward and to extract the novelty visor from hanging off one side of his bangs, face scrunching into a bewildered and slightly amused squint. He then scoffs a little under his breath, turning it around in his hands, smiling crookedly the moment he realizes that it's only a tacky hat.
"How very strange...." the apprentice murmurs, eyes lifting to glance around, spotting the fleeting shake of a tassel rounding the nearest building's corner. Curious, he slips after it, further down the alleyway. There's at least a few minutes to spare investigating the source of this freebie, before the festival gets started.
"Are these to keep?" Ienzo calls out loud, raising the visor in question. It doesn't exactly fit. Maybe he can get away with pass it off to a little kid.
